Research Technician 4 - in the Center for Automotive Research (CAR), this position reports to CAR Professor, Giorgio Rizzoni, and assists with the development and adaptation of a software tool intended for use by transit agencies to assess and optimize the battery life of battery electric buses. Research Technician 4 will support documenting and summarizing test results; may assist with editing research results for publication and presentation; assist with planning and coordinating internal meetings; helps research team in preparing for internal and external research meetings; supports schedules and overseeing graduate students.
Qualifications:
Education/Experience Minimum Education:
Required Major : bachelor’s degree: Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering OR Electrical and Computer Engineering
Experience Desired: 1 year experience in a research lab
The target hiring range for this job profile is $22.93 - $29.95. The actual salary paid to an individual will vary based on multiple factors, including but not limit to, education, years of experience, internal equity, etc.
Final candidates are subject to successful completion of a background check. A drug screen or physical may be required during the post offer process.
