Join our global Resource and Demand Planning Pharma team as a Research and Translational Medicine Unit (R-TMU) Operational Planning and Capacity Management (OPCM) and you will focus on customizing, planning, and updating TMU & Research activities in R&D (Research & Development). This includes managing timelines and resources to reflect operational reality while ensuring alignment with the overall global project strategy. R&D scope is from Research to Preclinical and Clinical Development, and Product Life Cycle Management post initial market approval.
Main responsibilities:
- For each assigned project you will be the single accountable person for the accuracy of the entered plan and regular updates in the R&D planning tool (Planisware solution). For Research Project, the primary focus is to ensure the research workload is correctly reflected. For Development Project, you ensure that the project strategy is correctly reflected into an operational planning, that includes all the necessary activities with the appropriate workload, ensuring that the project logic and the timelines are accurately reflected.
- Provide workload and capacity analyses and reporting to support the TMU Project Team, and Managers in the TMU Functions
- Develop scenarios to make recommendations on optimization of timelines and of resources, and to support decisions for outsourcing if there is any bottleneck
- Analyse the project deliverable timelines and critical path activities
- Responsible for ensuring alignment of your TMU activities with global strategic project planning and other operational planning from CMC (Chemistry Manufacturing & Control), Clinical Sciences and Regulatory Affairs, while ensuring proper connectivity and integration of these cross-functional dependencies within the planning tool
- Evolving in an international environment, you will regularly attend project and planning meetings and other related meetings linked to project timelines and resources management (e.g., R&D governance preparation) and to OPCM business management
About you
Experience:
- At least 2 years of experience in Project Management/Planning of R&D Projects
- High level of knowledge on overall R&D Drug Development, as well as Business Operational Activities (Research, CMC, Preclinical and TMU, CSO operations)
- Knowledge in Finance and budget
Soft skills:
- Analytical, synthesis and reporting skills
- Autonomy and proactivity
- Adaptability, pragmatic and enthusiastic
- Team spirit, taste for teamwork
- Strong Communication skills and interpersonal relationship demonstrated
Technical skills:
- General knowledge on Project Management
- Expert in the use of computer tools such as Planisware (Project Management) and Excel, notion in BI application would be appreciated
Education: Diploma of Higher Education or min. Bachelor’s degree
Languages: Fluency in English (verbal and writing), ability to exchange fluently in a global environment
