Key Responsibilities:
Understand and investigate the environment-microbe-human complex interactions, with a focus on the change of biofilm under pressure
Design and implement rigorous study
Conduct wet-lab experiments
Perform in-depth, critical data analyses
Effectively communicate through presentations and high-quality journal publications
Assist in supervising research students in the group
Job Requirements:
PhD degree in microbiology, bioinformatics, computational biology or a related field.
Expertise in python, linux and HPC.
Have experience in conducting wet-lab experiments.
A strong interest in interdisciplinary research.
Excellent interpersonal skills to work effectively with group members and collaborators.
Good oral and written communication skills in English - essential for data analysis and communication with stakeholders
Ability to work efficiently and with minimum supervision.
