We are looking for a Research Fellow to lead advancements in multimodal large language models (LLMs) and embodied AI. This role will contribute to NTU’s mission of driving transformative research in artificial intelligence and robotics by developing force-integrated Vision-Language-Action models that enable seamless human-robot interaction and autonomous task execution. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in enhancing NTU’s global reputation for excellence in robotics and AI.
Key Responsibilities:
Publish high-quality research in top-tier conferences and journals.
Design and implement multimodal LLM architectures that integrate vision, language, and action for embodied AI systems.
Develop and optimize deep learning algorithms to enable robotic arms to perform complex tasks guided by natural language instructions.
Experiment with and deploy vision-language-action models on robotic platforms.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to advance the field of embodied intelligence.
Job Requirements:
Ph.D. in Computer Science, Robotics, AI, or a related field.
At least 3 top-tier AI and Robotics Conference Publications as the first author
Expertise in deep learning, multimodal LLMs, and Vision-Language-Action models.
Strong programming skills in Python, with significant experience in PyTorch.
Hands-on experience with robotic systems, particularly robotic arms.
Familiarity with human-robot interaction and reinforcement learning is a plus.
