Job Summary
We are looking for a Research Engineer who will be recognized within their R&D group as a key contributor. The individual is known, valued, and will provide some technical assistance to other functional areas. He/She understands the basic technology involved in a product platform and can contribute improvements.

Essential Duties

  • Participate in providing sound recommendations, innovative solutions and technical guidance which results in sustainable business advantage

  • Make compelling cases for technical recommendations to the R & D team as well as other functional areas

  • Own the technical schedule, ensuring that it is current and adhered to by applicable team members

  • Apply standard DOE packages to set up and analyze experiments

  • Use SPC data to determine next steps in process troubleshooting

  • Refine and reduce to practice patentable/trade secret ideas and concepts

  • Provide technical direction for several smaller projects and key product lines Partner with functional resources to achieve goals

  • Participate in project teams led by other functional areas to provide specific expertise to the effort

  • Perform other duties as assigned


Qualifications Required

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering

  • 3+ years of relevant experience


Qualifications Preferred

  • Demonstrated knowledge in product quality tests and product requirements versus specification.

  • Demonstrated knowledge of the RCN system.

  • Experience writing intervention disclosures.

  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Base salary and/or rate of pay ranges listed are exclusive of fringe benefits and potential bonuses. Individual compensation offers will be determined based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to geographic location, relevant candidate experience and skill, education, and/or qualifications.

Base Salary Range: $76,000-$104,500
