We are looking for a Research Associate to support research activities in power system resilience optimization and asset health modelling. The role focuses on developing data-driven and physics-informed analytical models to enhance reliability, risk-informed maintenance planning, and operational decision-making for modern energy infrastructure. The position contributes to translational research aligned with NTU’s mission of driving innovation and industry impact in future energy systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support development of asset health assessment and degradation modelling methodologies.

  • Assist in resilience-oriented optimization modelling and simulation studies for power systems.

  • Perform data processing, numerical analysis, and validation using programming tools (e.g., Python/MATLAB).

  • Contribute to technical reports, research publications, and collaboration with academic and industry partners.

Job Requirements:

  • Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Energy Systems, or a related field.

  • Entry-level candidates are welcome to apply; relevant academic or project experience is advantageous.

  • Basic knowledge of power systems, optimization, or data analytics is preferred.

  • Proficiency in Python, MATLAB, or similar analytical tools.

  • Good communication, organizational, and teamwork skills with strong attention to detail.
