We are looking for a Research Associate to support research activities in power system resilience optimization and asset health modelling. The role focuses on developing data-driven and physics-informed analytical models to enhance reliability, risk-informed maintenance planning, and operational decision-making for modern energy infrastructure. The position contributes to translational research aligned with NTU’s mission of driving innovation and industry impact in future energy systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Support development of asset health assessment and degradation modelling methodologies.
Assist in resilience-oriented optimization modelling and simulation studies for power systems.
Perform data processing, numerical analysis, and validation using programming tools (e.g., Python/MATLAB).
Contribute to technical reports, research publications, and collaboration with academic and industry partners.
Job Requirements:
Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Energy Systems, or a related field.
Entry-level candidates are welcome to apply; relevant academic or project experience is advantageous.
Basic knowledge of power systems, optimization, or data analytics is preferred.
Proficiency in Python, MATLAB, or similar analytical tools.
Good communication, organizational, and teamwork skills with strong attention to detail.
