Research Associate

We are seeking a Research Associate to join IQVIA’s laboratory business at Santa Fe, NM.

In this role, you will support the antibody library construction pipeline by building and performing quality control on innovative antibody libraries using advanced molecular biology techniques.

What you’ll be doing:

• Execute antibody library construction following approved protocols.
• Apply molecular biology methods (PCR, cloning, primer design, sequence analysis) at high throughput while maintaining quality standards.
• Work with yeast, bacteria, and mammalian cells for growth, transformation, miniprep, and RNA extraction.
• Contribute to design and execution of routine methods/assays under moderate supervision.
• Participate in technical discussions, experimental design, and data review.
• Assist in troubleshooting and process improvements to enhance data quality and efficiency.
• Support maintenance and operational standards of laboratory equipment.
• Maintain accurate laboratory notebooks and follow all applicable SOPs and safety requirements.

What We Are Looking For:

• Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Chemistry, or related field required.
• 1–2 years of related experience in method development or specific methodology area, or a Master’s degree.
• Proficiency in molecular biology techniques including PCR, cloning, and primer design.
• Other Equivalent combination of education, training, and experience may be accepted in lieu of degree.

The Knowledge, Skills and Abilities needed for this role:

• Strong knowledge of molecular biology and microbiology techniques (PCR, cloning, yeast/bacteria/mammalian cell handling).
• Ability to follow, understand, and write/edit SOPs; familiarity with electronic lab notebooks.
• Proficiency in data analysis, calculations, and Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
• Effective organizational, communication, and time management skills with attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
