Job Summary
The primary focus of the Research Assistant (RA) position will be to provide operational support to the Liauw Lab research program by carrying out assigned tasks related to the updating the research program websites. Work is performed using established procedures and standardized web platforms, under the direction of the Research Manager.

Organizational Status
The Research Assistant will be supervised by and report to Dr. Jessica Liauw (Principal Investigator), and the Research Manager.

Work Performed

This role assists with research support activities by performing assigned tasks related to entering, updating, and formatting content on research program websites based on detailed instructions provided by the Research Manager.

 

Assists in organizing and maintaining research-related information by uploading documents, posting announcements, and updating web pages using standardized templates and procedures.

 

Performs routine content entry tasks, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and consistency of posted materials with provided source documents.

 

Utilizes standard tools and protocols to carry out assigned tasks and follows established timelines and priorities.

Consequence of Error/Judgement
The RA is required to conduct all research activities in an ethical manner. Failure to perform the routine tasks may affect study progress.

Supervision Received
Follows well-defined guidelines and procedures, under supervision of the Principal Investigator and the Research Manager.

Supervision Given
No supervision given.

Minimum Qualifications
High school graduation and a minimum one year of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
