Qualifications
Required Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Preferred Education and Experience:
Familiarity with the Bryan community
Experience in a public school(s)
Effective communication skills
Bilingual and Biliterate (Spanish & English)
Child Protection Training (CPT) or equivalent
Comfortable working with educational technology
75 credit hours or more towards a bachelor’s degree in education (bilingual education, special education, tc.)
1 or more years of experience working with students
Essential Duties/Tasks
Support Site Manager in implementing activities to achieve grant objectives (including case management, mentoring, tutoring, & college visits)
Ensure that meetings are held in locations accessible to families in the community
Reserve meeting locations in the community
Distribute invitations and project materials to the target cohort
Contact families and students with personal invitations to relevant meetings/activities
Ensure that activity participants complete evaluations of activities
Provide feedback for data collection and program improvement
Maintain accurate data
Attend mandatory meetings/trainings with supervisors/program staff
Maintain a log of work hours
