Required Education:
B.S. in Biochemistry, Chemistry, Biology or closely related field or equivalent combination of education and experience

Required Special Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Knowledge of laboratory maintenance and equipment.
Knowledge of computers and computer software related to the position.
Good interpersonal skills, professionalism and competency.
Ability to multi-task and work cooperatively with others.
25% Conduct research on pharmacokinetics and toxicity studies, in vitro-in vivo correlations, animal models of pathology, cell cultures.
25% Conduct protein purification and enzyme assay.
20% Works closely with lab leadership and project managers to properly prepare for and execute assigned pharmacology studies. Be responsible for the physical environment for a group of assigned laboratory animals
15% Perform routine animal husbandry: cage changing, health monitoring, food/water, breeding. Perform all tasks in accordance with established protocols and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
5% Conduct literature searches and reviews and continue to update knowledge and develop skills.
5% Maintain accurate and complete records of all findings.
5% Performs other duties as assigned.
