We are seeking a motivated and technically skilled Research Assistant to support an interdisciplinary immersive storytelling project. The role focuses on post-production, immersive sound, and VR workflows within a collaborative creative research environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in post-production (editing, sound design, audio post-production)
Support immersive audio workflows, including Ambisonics (2nd-order, 9-channel mix)
Record interviews and assist during VR shoots
Support VR production and post-production, including image stitching and stereoscopic 6K 3D workflows
Manage and organize image and sound assets
Assist across pre-production, production, and post-production stages
Job Requirements:
Background in film, media arts, sound, or immersive media
Experience in post-production and audio workflows
Familiarity with VR/360 production (or strong willingness to learn)
Strong organizational and communication skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively
Qualifications
Holds a Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field.
Strong organizational skills and effective communication abilities.
Passion for creative research and interdisciplinary collaboration.
Experience in research coordination or outreach is highly valued.
