  • The research assistant should be a graduate student or at least have a bachelor’s degree in one of the following academic disciplines or equivalent: sociology, anthropology, data science, political science, psychology, public health, counseling psychology and/or ethics/bioethics.

  • Assist with all stages of research including: ethics submission, participant recruitment, data collection (e.g. literature reviews, surveys, interviews, focus groups), data analysis, and the drafting, copy-editing and source-checking of submissions to high impact peer reviewed law, bioethics, social scientific and scientific journals.

Requirements:

1. Previous experience in research

2. Experience with data analysis (qualitative and/or quantitative) and relevant software (e.g. Excel, SPSS, NVivo).

3. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

4. Flexibility to working on interdisciplinary projects.

5. Conduct all research activities within the prescribed period/delay and be able to respect the research ethics as well as the predetermined deadlines.

6. Possess excellent interpersonal skills, be able to work in a team and be comfortable engaging with people in-person.

7. This is an in-person position.

8. Proficient in English and working knowledge of French.
