The Democratic Governors Association (DGA), the campaign committee responsible for electing and supporting Democratic governors, is seeking multiple researchers to lead research book projects for the 2025-2026 cycle. These positions will report to the Deputy Research Director. Applications will continue to be accepted until this position is filled.
The DGA has 36 governors races this cycle, and expects to produce over 25 research books. The Research Advisor will work either solo, or with 1-3 research associates on a book projects between 3 and 12 weeks long, depending on scope, and work with a Deputy Research Director to edit and polish research product to ensure accuracy.
This position is designed to feed into statewide research director positions on competitive governors’ races, but offers no guarantees. To accommodate this, this position can be remote.
The salary for this position is set at $90,000 annually before benefits and applicable withholdings.
