None/Not RequiredWe are seeking a Requirements Management Support and Migration Specialist who will provide daily support of the Jama Connect (requirements management) platform for our engineering and product-development teams and data migration of legacy Requirements Management system. The primary focus is on user support, configuration assistance, process improvement, troubleshooting issues, training users, and ensuring high availability and proper use of the platform to enable our teams to manage requirements, traceability, compliance and reviews.
**This is a hybrid position in Puerto Rico**
What YOU will do:
Serve as the main point of contact for Jama users: respond to questions, troubleshoot user issues, guide users on best practices for requirements management and use of Jama.
Configure and maintain Jama Connect instances: manage users/groups/permissions, item types, link types, fields, workflows, custom dashboards/reports.
Collaborate with engineering, systems engineering, quality, and IT teams to define and implement requirements-management processes and workflows within Jama, ensuring alignment with engineering lifecycle and regulatory standards.
Migration of legacy Requirements Management system to Jama.
Monitor system health, participate in upgrades/patches, backups, performance tuning, and coordinate with infrastructure/DB teams for optimal system availability.
Document system configurations, user guides, training materials, standards/templates, and best practices for Jama usage.
Provide training or workshops for users (engineers, product teams, quality teams) on effective use of Jama: item creation, traceability, reviews, dashboards.
Identify opportunities for process improvement, automation (e.g., integration with other tools, scripting/reporting) and make recommendations to improve usage of the platform.
Qualifications YOU Must Have:
Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience
Must be a U.S. Citizen.
Identify opportunities for process improvement, automation (e.g., integration with other tools, scripting/reporting) and make recommendations to improve usage of the platform
Minimum 3 years of experience administering or supporting Jama Connect or another enterprise requirements management tool
Solid understanding of requirements management best practices: traceability, change control, versioning, reviews
Excellent user-support skills: able to engage cross-functional technical and non-technical stakeholders
