Serving as the single collaborative node to the OPIR Mission Director, you'll shape how space-based infrared intelligence supports everything from theater operations to strategic warning. Your expertise connects space to solutions." 24/7 operations position on the OPIR Operations Desk (OOD) serving as the after-hours extension of the Joint OPIR Planning Center, advocating for optimal OPIR collection and providing single-source collaborative support to the OPIR Mission Director. Integrates requirements across national, tactical, and strategic missions while delivering tailored multi-INT solutions to customers and intelligence community partners. Key Responsibilities: 24/7 Operations Advocacy - Serve as single-source collaborative node advocating for OPIR collection optimization to the OPIR Mission Director; act as after-hours extension of JOPC operations Requirements Integration - Integrate OPIR requirements, data products, and processes into national, tactical, and strategic level missions; coordinate with multi-intelligence partners Subject Matter Expertise - Provide OPIR expertise on overhead assets, capabilities, and limitations to support mission planning and execution Customer Support & Solutions - Deliver timely, relevant OPIR support through multi-INT collaborative efforts tailored to customer and Intelligence Community needs Coalition Coordination - Support worldwide Collection Managers and partner operations build capacity through coalition, commercial, and civil partnerships

Qualifications: MANDATORY QUALIFICATION CRITERIA: For this particular job, applicants must meet all competencies reflected under the Mandatory Qualification Criteria to include education (if required). Online resumes must demonstrate qualification by providing specific examples and associated results, in response to the announcement's mandatory criteria specified in this vacancy announcement: Experience communicating to leadership and other stakeholders through written, visual, and/or verbal reporting and presentation. Experience analyzing requirements, and/or integration capability documents including but not limited to engineering processes, computer science, and/or data analytics for validity and accuracy. Experience with intelligence collection management, processes, and/or tools. Experience with identifying and tracking customer requirements. Experience identifying sensor capabilities and limitations to determine applicability to obtain data to conduct or enhance collection. EDUCATION REQUIREMENT: A. Education: Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in GEOINT, Systems Engineering, Engineering, Remote Sensing, Requirements Management, Image Science, Geographic Information Systems (GIS), or a related field. -OR- B. Combination of Education and Experience: A minimum of 24 semester (36 quarter) hours of coursework in any area listed in option A, plus experience that involves defining domain-specific requirements and processes or a related area that demonstrates the ability to successfully perform the duties associated with this work. As a rule, every 30 semester (45 quarter) hours of college is equivalent to one year of experience. Candidates should show that their combination of education and experience totals 4 years. -OR- C. Experience: A minimum of 4 years of experience in defining domain-specific requirements and processes or a related area that demonstrates the ability to successfully perform the duties associated with this work. DESIRABLE QUALIFICATION CRITERIA: In addition to the mandatory qualifications, experience in the following is desired: Experience with research and analysis in systems engineering and/or engineering management. Experience working collaboratively as part of a team to ensure that project goals and deadlines are met. Experience applying acquisition policies and procedures in acquiring materials and/or services. Experience providing guidance and translating issues to customers. Experience with implementing process improvement by defining problems and identifying solutions. Experience analyzing complex problems and making data-driven recommendations.
