Representative, SalesKBR Sustainable Technology Solutions (STS) provides holistic and value-added solutions across the entire asset life cycle. These include world-class licensed process technologies, differentiated advisory services, deep technical domain expertise, energy transition solutions, high-end design capabilities, and smart solutions to optimize planned and operating assets.
KBR is seeking for a Sales Representative that will be responsible for business development and proposal activities that support selling efforts consistent with the Company's strategic plan and business goals. The incumbent will drive the disciplined application of KBR's relationship-based sales process, emphasizing the development of advanced client relationships, strategic positioning for identified opportunities and development of high-quality responses to satisfy client objectives.
Functional job responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Applies the resources of the sales organization to market the organizations products and services through competitive pricing, technology, development of new business relations, and monitoring customer and competitor activity.
Under general supervision, and occasional direct supervision, performs assignments requiring experience and knowledge of standard concepts within their field.
Displays core job competencies by analyzing possible solutions using standard procedures while developing advanced skills.
Required Education, Experience, & Skills:
Bachelor’s Degree in related field.
2+ years of related experience.
Computer skills: Must be proficient with Microsoft Office suite, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel. Experience with SharePoint, Power BI and Salesforce preferred.
Team Player: Works well independently and in an intensely collaborative team environment, including in a supporting role.
Attention to detail: Possesses a fastidious attention to detail with a sense of urgency while working on client-facing deliverables where customers expect high-quality, fully compliant, winning proposals.
Organization: Exhibits a high degree of planning and organizing skills.
Communication: Possesses excellent verbal and written communication skills, works collaboratively with management and relevant stakeholders to complete tasks and resolve issues, and constructs commercial proposal text with persuasive and compelling arguments.
Creativity: Intellectually curious with strong creative and imaginative prowess to generate ideas for solving complex problems and producing outcomes. Demonstrates creativity and foresight to develop innovative solutions and commercial offerings to differentiate KBR from our competitors.
Flexibility: Able to adjust to frequent changes in priorities, effectively managing time and working across multiple tasks with competing deadlines. Includes willingness to work overtime, weekends, etc. on short notice.
