Job Description:

Parsons are seeking an experienced Reporting Lead - Airfield to manage and deliver accurate, timely, and insightful project reporting for a large-scale Airport / Airfield infrastructure project. The role is responsible for consolidating data across multiple disciplines, ensuring transparency of project performance, and supporting leadership with reliable reporting on progress, cost, schedule, risk, and key milestones.

The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent coordination abilities, and extensive experience in complex infrastructure or aviation projects.

The Reporting Lead will play a critical role in providing clear, accurate, and timely insights into project performance for a major Airport / Airfield project. By consolidating data across cost, schedule, risk, and progress, this role supports informed decision-making and effective project governance throughout the project lifecycle.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Develop, manage, and maintain project reporting frameworks, dashboards, and KPIs aligned with project governance requirements.
  • Prepare weekly, monthly, and executive-level reports covering schedule, cost, progress, risks, and issues.
  • Ensure reporting accuracy, consistency, and clarity across all project disciplines.
  • Coordinate with planning and project controls teams to capture progress updates and schedule performance.
  • Track milestones, critical paths, and key deliverables for airside, landside, terminal, and systems packages.
  • Analyze schedule variances and highlight potential impacts to project timelines.
  • Support cost control and commercial teams in consolidating cost data, forecasts, and cash flow reports.
  • Track budget utilization, commitments, variations, and financial performance.
  • Provide clear visibility of cost trends and potential overruns to project leadership.
  • Collect, validate, and consolidate data from multiple contractors, consultants, and internal teams.
  • Ensure data integrity and version control across reporting platforms and tools.
  • Integrate schedule, cost, risk, and progress data into unified management reports.
  • Maintain logs and reporting for project risks, issues, and change requests.
  • Track mitigation actions and highlight high-priority risks impacting project objectives.
  • Support change management reporting, including impact assessments and approvals.
  • Prepare executive summaries and presentations for senior management, steering committees, and external stakeholders.
  • Translate complex project data into clear, concise insights for decision-making.
  • Act as a key interface between project teams and leadership on reporting matters.
  • Ensure reporting complies with project governance frameworks, contractual requirements, and client standards.
  • Support audits and management reviews by providing accurate and traceable reports.
  • Continuously improve reporting processes to meet evolving project needs.
  • Lead and coordinate reporting analysts or project controls resources, where applicable.
  • Provide guidance on reporting standards, templates, and best practices.
  • Ensure consistent reporting methodologies across all project packages.
  • Identify opportunities to improve reporting efficiency through automation, dashboards, and digital tools.
  • Enhance visualization of project data using Power BI, dashboards, or similar platforms.
  • Drive standardization of reporting formats across the project lifecycle.

What Required Skills You’ll Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Professional certifications in Project Controls or Reporting are an advantage
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in project reporting, project controls, or management information systems.
  • Proven experience on large infrastructure, airport, or aviation-related projects.
  • Strong exposure to schedule, cost, and progress reporting in complex, multi-stakeholder environments.
  • Strong understanding of project controls, planning, and performance reporting.
  • Proficiency in reporting and planning tools (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project, Excel, Power BI).
  • Excellent data analysis and visualization skills.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage large volumes of data.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience on airport or airfield construction projects.
  • Advanced Power BI, dashboarding, or data analytics expertise.
  • Knowledge of risk management and change control processes.
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple reporting cycles.
  • Strong problem-solving mindset and continuous improvement focus.
