We are seeking an experienced Reporting Accountant to join our Finance team. This is a senior technical accounting role with responsibility for UK consolidation, intercompany accounting, and statutory reporting. You will play an important part in maintaining the accuracy, integrity, and transparency of our financial information, while also supporting and mentoring colleagues and working closely with international stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
Lead UK consolidation and intercompany reporting, coordinating closely with teams across Finning UK, Canada, and Finning International
Reconcile, record, eliminate, and consolidate intercompany balances within group reporting systems
Prepare and manage annual statutory accounts and statutory reporting for the UK and Ireland
Produce supplementary financial information to support investor and group reporting, including cash flow reporting (capex and rentex) and disclosures
Review and support financial processes delivered by Shared Services in South America, including bank accounts, fixed assets, rentals, and other asset accounting
Ensure balance sheet and income statement transactions are accurate, timely, and fully IFRS‑compliant
Identify financial risks or issues early and address them thoughtfully, escalating where appropriate
Provide guidance, knowledge‑sharing, and mentoring support to junior accounting analysts across SG&A and operational accounting
Support finance systems maintenance, testing, and issue resolution in collaboration with the Assistant Controller
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified (essential)
Relevant experience within a finance or accounting environment
Strong experience in consolidation, intercompany accounting, and statutory reporting
Sound technical accounting knowledge with a solid understanding of IFRS
Working knowledge of UK and Ireland statutory reporting requirements
Experience with finance systems is highly desirable (SAP, BPC, Analysis for Office, DBS, Blackline, Kyriba)
