FT Specialist is looking for a Finance Reporter to join Sustainable Views, a leading business-to-business publication focused on sustainability regulations, market-based solutions to climate change and the shifting geopolitical landscape that shapes ESG policymaking.
This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to one of the most dynamic and high-impact beats in business journalism. You will be responsible for writing news articles, delivering smart analysis and conducting interviews that unpack the implications of regulatory changes. You will also play a visible role in multimedia storytelling, supporting Sustainable Views’ podcast and social media efforts.
Write news, features and analysis focused on ESG finance and regulatory developments
Conduct interviews and source expert perspectives on evolving policies
Participate in the Sustainable Views podcast
Contribute to social media, video and audio content
Build and maintain a strong network of industry contacts
Attend and report from relevant sector events
Understanding of sustainable finance and market-based climate solutions
Strong writing skills with the ability to produce clean, compelling copy
Experience in a fast-paced newsroom, working both independently and collaboratively
Excellent communication and multitasking abilities
Flexible with working hours when needed
Knowledge of relevant financial institutions and a developing contacts book
A degree in journalism or data journalism
One to three years of reporting experience
Knowledge of sustainability regulation, environmental legislation, human rights or climate policy
Strong numeracy and data journalism skills
