The Repair Technologies Product Leader is accountable for defining the product strategy, technology roadmap, and investment priorities for the GTS Repair business.
The role acts as the single point of accountability for repair technology development and industrialization, ensuring alignment between market needs, operational excellence, and long‑term business strategy.
The Product Leader works cross‑functionally with Global Operations, Engineering, Growth & Strategy, Finance and Repair Shops to translate business priorities into programs that improve cost, cycle time, quality, safety, and competitiveness.
Key Responsibilities will be:
1. Product Strategy & Roadmap Ownership
Define and own the Repair strategy
Develop a multi‑year roadmap, balancing internal drivers (productivity, safety, quality, lead‑time) and external drivers (competitor moves, new technologies available, suppliers, research).
2. Technology Scouting & Market Intelligence
Actively monitor technology trends in repair processes by attending industry conferences and technology forums to identify emerging solutions.
Translate external technology inputs into new initiatives and programs.
3. Portfolio Performance & Competitive Positioning
Monitor Repair product line performance through Opex trends, Win/Loss analysis and Competitor benchmarking, identifying gaps and countermeasures and proposing new initiatives
4. Investment Planning, Governance and Programs execution
Partner with Growth & Strategy, Global Operations, and Finance to define the investment plan, build business cases, drive prioritization decisions and integrate initiatives into the LRP (Long Range Plan).
Be accountable for the execution of Repair Technology programs in terms of milestones and spending and manage transition from development to industrialization
Lead periodic product and portfolio reviews with senior leadership.
Fuel your passion
To be successful in this role you will have:
Experience in Product Management, Engineering, or Operations
Knowledge of repair technologies and service business dynamics
Experience with NPD / technology development processes
Financial acumen (business cases, ROI, NPV, IRR)
It will be seen as an advantage if you also have:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent technical discipline
Experience in Gas Turbine or Turbomachinery service environments
Ability to influence without direct authority
Strategic mindset combined with execution discipline
