JOB DESCRIPTION

As a Senior Risk Analyst, you will play a key role in supporting the Third-Party Risk Management (TPRM) team to ensure compliance with regulatory outsourcing risk requirements. This position requires a strong knowledge of TPRM principles and practices. You will manage onboarding and ongoing oversight activities for third-party relationships, helping to maintain adherence to governance, risk, and compliance standards. 

This role will: 

  • Provide dedicated support to the onboarding and ongoing oversight of third-party relationships. 

  • Partner cross-functionally: collaborate with Information Security, Compliance, Legal, Finance, BSA/AML, Vendor Risk, and other functions to facilitate and evaluate relationships 

  • Negotiate contractual language to align with financial industry FFIEC and FRB interagency guidelines 

  • Assist with regulatory, internal, or other third-party audit requests 

  • Prepare and present strategic insights, reports, and recommendations to senior management and TPRM committees and working groups 

  • Communicate with business units and cross-functional teams regarding third-party events and escalating to senior management, when applicable 

  • Contribute within collaborative team discussions to support ongoing program enhancements while promoting a positive and energetic team culture 

  • Advise and assist with various ad hoc responsibilities supporting program enhancements, process improvements, and other organizational needs

Required: 

  • 5 years of experience in a Risk, Compliance and/or Audit related job discipline, including but not limited to: third party risk, financial risk, credit risk, vendor risk, enterprise risk, audit, insurance, information security, and/or compliance management 

  • Understanding of key governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) concepts of third party risk management and related guidance 

  • Ability to effectively prioritize and maintain focus on multiple tasks while working in a team environment with a diverse set of stakeholders 

  • Demonstrates exceptional written, verbal, and presentation skills, with the ability to synthesize complex information into clear, concise recommendations for actionable decision-making 

  • Demonstrates autonomy and expertise for identifying and interpreting third-party risks and mitigating controls including key contract terms 

  • Able to work independently and collaboratively to deliver high-quality results on time in a dynamic, fast-paced environment 

  • Exceptional judgment, evaluation, and interpretation skills; self-directed and accountable for outcomes 

  • Strong business ethics surrounding access to confidential information 

  • Aptitude for persuasion and influencing others, especially senior management not familiar with the subject matter 

Preferred: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree  

  • Experience with GRC tools (e.g., RSA Archer, LogicGate, ServiceNow) and familiarity with industry best practices 

  • Background in Financial Services, Banking, Insurance, or analogous regulated industries

PAY RANGE

The targeted base salary for this position is $73,700 to $110,500 per year. The final compensation will be determined by a number of factors such as qualifications, expertise, and the candidate’s geographical location.
