Salary Range: $147945 - $197200 Per Year

Job Summary: As a Remarketing Division Director, you will provide nationwide leadership, oversight, and strategic direction for the GSA Fleet Remarketing Program. Location of Position: GSA, Federal Acquisition Service (FAS), Office of Fleet Management, Fleet Vehicle Service Center, Remarketing Division. The Federal Acquisition Service (FAS), Office of Fleet Management, Fleet Vehicle Service Center, Remarketing Division is responsible for for managing the lifecycle sale of all GSA fleet vehicles and enhancing operational efficiency. You will perform the following duties: Oversee the development and execution of long-range program strategies, ensuring consistency across regional operations while optimizing sales proceeds. Create and manages multi-year plans designed to maximize the financial return from vehicle sales. Establish performance goals for vehicle sales, including days to sell, proceeds per vehicle, and program efficiency; defines clear, measurable targets for the remarketing program's success. Serve as primary expert resource, providing authoritative advice and guidance on the proper interpretation and application of remarketing policies, informing them about changes in the automotive sales market that could affect GSA's program, and assessing and communicating potential threats or liabilities related to vehicle disposal operations. Analyze sales, financial, and operational data to support decision-making, guidance development, and operational improvements including: analysis identifies performance trends,highlighting areas for increased revenue, and ensuring the efficient use of resources across all remarketing activities. Recommend process enhancements, automation, and workflow improvements to reduce operational costs and increase sales efficiency. Synthesize complex data into clear, actionable insights, providing the necessary information for strategic planning and executive-level decisions regarding the program's direction and resource allocation. Serve as the primary liaison with federal agencies, industry partners, and GSA officials regarding remarketing operations in GSA Fleet, fostering effective communication and collaboration to ensure the smooth execution of vehicle sales and disposal. Prepare detailed reports, briefings, and recommendations for the Fleet Vehicle Service Center Director and other senior leadership. Direct, supervise, and mentor a diverse team of professional and technical staff, fostering a high-performance culture focused on achieving program objectives. Provide guidance to Sales Contracting Officers and personnel on contract execution, ensuring adherence to the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and GSA regulations, thereby promoting consistency and legality in all sales activities. Oversee the execution of long-range program strategies, ensuring consistency across nationwide operations.

To qualify, you must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-14 level or higher in the Federal service. Specialized experience is experience in the vehicle remarketing field such as: Analyzing market and financial data to maximize return on vehicle assets; Ensuring vehicle sales contracts are in compliance with remarketing policies; Recommending remarketing strategies to senior leadership for vehicle sales; AND Leading teams in evaluating programs for process improvements and alignment with organizational goals.
