What You Will Achieve
In this role, you will:
Oversee maintenance and reliability engineering tasks, including the redesign, upkeep, and repair of utility systems, buildings, and equipment.
Contribute to moderately complex projects, managing time effectively and developing short-term work plans.
Provide engineering support for developing scopes of work, project execution plans, and engineering studies for equipment installation or modification.
Offer operational support, review preventive and corrective work orders, and manage technical writing and document reviews.
Ensure calibration compliance with Current Good Manufacturing Practices, contemporary technologies, and best aseptic practices.
Participate in Root Cause Failure Analysis investigations and update equipment reliability plans, collaborating with Production and Quality Team Leads.
Promote workplace safety by following site safety procedures and performing proactive safety assessments.
Actively participate in site and corporate initiatives, and serve as a liaison between quality, operations, and regulatory/compliance for timely closure of investigations.
Here Is What You Need (Minimum Requirements)
Bachelors Degree (Engineering)
5+ years of demonstrated experience in Pharmaceutical or FMCG Industries
Experience with Root Cause Failure Analysis, Equipment Criticality Ranking, PM/PdM optimization, and/or Failure Modes and Effects Analysis
Experience with process automation systems
Strong knowledge and understanding of Current Good Manufacturing Practices (part of GxP)
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Working knowledge of MS Excel
Ability to manage complex issues and foster consensus among teams
Bonus Points If You Have (Preferred Requirements)
Experience in the pharmaceutical sector
Proficiency in technical writing and document reviews
Knowledge of contemporary technologies and best aseptic practices
Proactive approach to promoting safety within the workplace
Experience using common AI tools, including generative technologies such as ChatGPT or Microsoft Copilot, to support problem solving and enhance productivity. Demonstrated curiosity for exploring how these tools can improve outcomes and understanding of responsible AI practices, including risk management and ethical use
