The Relationship Manager is responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of client relationships within the Banking sub‑segment. This includes proactively identifying opportunities, acquiring new business and delivering tailored financial solutions drawn from a suite of standard and customised offerings.
The role ensures meaningful value delivery to clients while driving sustainable revenue growth and supporting long‑term client retention and satisfaction.
Are you someone who can:
- Manage and grow a portfolio of clients through proactive engagement, consistent relationship building and deep understanding of client needs.
- Drive cross‑sell and upsell opportunities across the bank’s product suite to meet revenue and growth objectives.
- Develop and execute a portfolio growth strategy aligned to segment priorities and business targets.
- Identify client needs and match them with customised offerings, while promoting the adoption of digital platforms.
- Build and maintain a strong network of business and social relationships to support ongoing acquisition and revenue generation.
- Arrange and participate in networking sessions, client events, seminars and engagement activities to strengthen relationships and create opportunities.
- Collaborate across internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery, operational effectiveness and client satisfaction.
- Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date client records, reporting and documentation.
- Contribute to overall segment profitability through revenue generation, cost discipline and efficient resource utilisation.
- Take accountability for achieving sales, service and performance targets, consistently driving excellence.
You will be an ideal candidate if you:
- Industry related Qualifications or an appropriate Business Degree
- Have 3–5 years’ experience in client relationship management, preferably within Corporate, Commercial, or Business Banking.
- Have a proven ability to manage and grow a client portfolio through strategic engagement and proactive relationship building.
- Demonstrate experience in identifying and converting cross‑sell and upsell opportunities across banking products.
The candidate should have the following knowledge and skills:
- Experience in the insurance or financial services industry would be a distinct advantage
