Rehab Intake Coordinator

CAN, Quebec - Full Time Remote Full time

Manulife’s Disability and Life Team is looking for a Rehabilitation Intake Coordinator.  As a Rehabilitation Intake Coordinator will have the privilege of supporting the national rehabilitation team by ensuring that appropriate referrals are accepted and assigned to the appropriate resource.
 
Position Responsibilities:

  • The review, assessment and assignment of appropriate resources of all new referrals to the National Rehabilitation Department. 

  • Prescreen all new LTD claims for specific plan sponsors using pre-determined criteria and assign to the appropriate resource. 

  • Track, monitor and record associated data.

  • Varied administrative tasks to support the national rehab team

Required Qualifications:

  • Ability to prioritize work effectively under deadlines. 

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail 

  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment

  • Ability to multi-task

  • Flexible and adaptable to rapidly changing priorities and the ability to handle confidential information 

  • Strong service orientation and sound judgment

  • Strong interpersonal and team approach. 

  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written

  • Strong experience with various system applications - claims processing, data entry, word, excel.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bilingualism (English and French) is an asset. If the successful candidate is in Québec, proficiency in both languages will be required to support clients from various provinces outside of Quebec.

  • College or University degree in health sciences is an asset.

  • Work experience in Group Disability a strong asset.

Salary range is expected to be between

$41,400.00 CAD - $69,000.00 CAD

Employees also have the opportunity to participate in incentive programs and earn incentive compensation tied to business and individual performance. The actual salary will vary depending on local market conditions, geography and relevant job-related factors such as knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience, and education/training.
