Regulatory Risk Compliance Associate

The Regulatory Risk and Compliance Associate supports enterprise regulatory compliance activities by performing ongoing compliance monitoring, supporting renewal and validation processes, and contributing to quality management and oversight efforts. The role partners with internal teams to validate compliance status in support of workforce and business processes and serves as a point of escalation for certain compliance matters requiring resolution. This position supports the firm’s system of quality management by maintaining and analyzing compliance data, preparing reports, and contributing to ongoing monitoring and continuous improvement activities. Success in the role requires strong attention to detail, sound judgment, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a collaborative environment while continuing to build technical and firm knowledge.

RESPONSIBILITITES:
  • Support enterprisewide compliance renewal, validation, and reporting processes by coordinating required information, communicating expectations to impacted individuals or groups, and following up to ensure timely completion.

  • Support policy review activities by performing follow‑up, monitoring responses, and escalating matters as appropriate. Assist with vetting and review activities related to workforce or business events by validating required compliance attributes.

  • Serve as an escalation point of contact for certain inquiries via shared mailboxes and the ServiceNow intake portal, managing inquiry intake, responding within established timeframes, leveraging existing knowledge resources, escalating issues as needed, and providing status updates.

  • Perform ongoing monitoring of policy and regulatory compliance attributes, identify compliance exceptions, conduct follow‑up outreach, escalate matters as appropriate, and coordinate periodic reporting to Quality Management or governance teams.

  • Collaborate with internal teams regarding compliance policies and processes, identifying opportunities for coordination and helping educate stakeholders on related processes.

  • Maintain, update, and periodically review knowledge documents, response templates, and FAQs to ensure alignment with current policies and processes.

  • Collaborate with team members to support ongoing compliance initiatives, reporting, and process improvements.

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in business related area or equivalent experience

TECHNICAL/SOFT SKILLS

  • Ability to communicate information clearly and concisely, in writing to diverse audiences across the firm and to outside professional contacts

  • Proficient in use of Microsoft Office products including familiarity with SharePoint as a document repository

  • Effective organization and time management skills (required)

  • Demonstrated ability to identify and recommend process improvement and efficiency

  • Ability to develop and maintain internal contacts, resources and networks

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion with respect to internal information

  • Exhibit high attention to detail and strong proofreading skills

EXPERIENCE

  • 2-3 years relevant experience

  • Professional services firm experience
