The US Regulatory Manager will report to the Director of Regulatory and will be supporting all US Fertilizer Regulatory projects. This role will work directly with the Commercial team for Mosaic Biosciences, as well as R&D, external regulating bodies, and related industry associations. The incumbent will need an understanding of US fertilizer and biostimulant regulations, and strong project management skills. The Regulatory Manager will additionally be responsible for representing Mosaic Biosciences with governmental agencies and maintain our Freedom to Operate in the US.

What will you do:
Responsible for maintaining Mosaic Bioscience’s freedom to operate in the US:
Ownership of US fertilizer and bio stimulant registrations including responsibility for monthly tonnage and renewal requirements.
Ownership of all new product registrations for Mosaic Biosciences fertilizer and biostimulant products, including microbial and biochemical sources.
Responsible for new fertilizer and biostimulant product registration dossiers for the US.
Responsible for regulatory function as part of a project team for new product registrations.
Ownership of all tracking documentation and regular updates to internal colleagues, leadership, and external databases.
Adapt to changing priorities and timelines to support the regulatory team and broader Mosaic goals
Responsible for understanding of changing US fertilizer and biostimulant regulations, and labeling guidelines, including state and federal agencies.
Adapt to changing priorities and timelines to support the regulatory team and broader Mosaic goals
Represent Mosaic at industry and government agency meetings.
Influence regulatory policy with government agencies and industry associations
Responsible for US State government agency relationships for Mosaic Biosciences.
What will you need:
Bachelor's degree in agricultural, microbiology, biological, or environmental sciences required.
Master's degree preferred
5 years of regulatory experience
3-5 years of experience in fertilizer or pesticide regulatory
Self-motivation with excellent attention to detail, organizational, and time management skills.
Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
Understanding of agriculture chemical or biotech industry.
Fertilizer registrations, USDA permitting, project management.
Proficiency in MS365 (Teams, Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Sharepoint, Copilot)
