Northrop Grumman is seeking a Regulatory Compliance Analyst or Principal Regulatory Compliance Analyst to be a key member of the Northrop Grumman Corporate Home Office Government Compliance team.  This position is located at our Corporate Headquarters in Falls Church, VA and we will consider teleworking for a candidate with strong experience or subject matter expertise in Government Compliance and Government Cost Accounting. As a valued member of the team, the Regulatory Compliance Analyst or Principal Regulatory Compliance Analyst will be welcomed into a team environment where input is invited, growth is encouraged, and mutual support is the standard.

The person in this position will report to the Corporate Manager of Government Compliance and will support continued adequacy of business systems and be a liaison for DCAA audits. The person in this position will work closely with various Corporate Home Office and Chief Information and Digital Office functions, the various Sector Government Compliance teams, and auditors from the Defense Contract Audit Agency (DCAA) and Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA).

Primary responsibilities and duties include:

- Liaising with DCAA and DCMA

- Supporting DCAA Accounting System, CAS, and other audits

- Leading self-assessment and other business system monitoring activities

- Providing assessment of cost allowability based on government regulations and company policies  

- Some recurring reporting and other administrative responsibilities

This position may be filled at the Regulatory Analyst or Principal Regulatory Analyst level, depending on the years of experience the candidate brings to the evaluation process.

Basic Qualifications for a Regulatory Analyst/Level 2:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, economics, or related field with a minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience or a Master's degree in accounting, finance, economics, or related field.

Basic Qualifications for a Principal Regulatory Analyst/Level 3:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, economics, or related field with a minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience or Master’s degree in accounting, finance, economics, or related field with a minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience

Remaining Qualifications for Both Levels:

  • Strong experience or subject matter expertise in Government Compliance and Government Cost Accounting
  • Experience supporting DCAA audits
  • Familiarity with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and Cost Accounting Standards (CAS)
  • Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong demonstrated knowledge of FAR and CAS and research experience​
  • Prior experience in the Aerospace & Defense industry in Government Compliance, Rates and Budgets, or Program Finance roles
  • Strong project management skills
  • Experience with SAP and Analysis for Office

Primary Level Salary Range: $69,000.00 - $103,400.00

Secondary Level Salary Range: $85,600.00 - $128,400.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
