Your part in St Andrew’s War Memorial Day Surgery Centre
You will work alongside our Registered Nurses and be accountable for the provision of safe and holistic care to individuals and their families, applying best clinical practice and ensuring a safe environment for optimal patient outcomes.
You will deliver exceptional person-centred care by working collaboratively with your multidisciplinary team, applying exceptional communication and customer service skills.
With 14 operating theatres and exposure to all surgical specialties, this is an opportunity to broaden your anaesthetic experience and work across a truly dynamic caseload — from cardiac and neurosurgery (including DBS) to paediatrics, orthopaedics, plastics and more.

What Makes a difference for us?
Demonstrates application of the principles of clinical and workplace risk management.
Applies sound clinical practice which ensures a safe environment and promotes optimal patient health.
Bachelor of Nursing Degree or equivalent
Rotating roster including on-call and shift work (no night shifts)
Current AHPRA practicing certificate as a Registered Nurse and/ Midwifery
Utilises customer service principles to exceed customer expectations.
Undertake other duties as required/directed as service needs change or grow, consistent with the above and within the scope of the position and any other legal or industrial obligations.
