About the role
Cabrini Brighton is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our 31-bed mixed surgical ward, incorporating Paediatrics and COB. You will be part of a supportive and collaborative team committed to delivering exceptional, patient-centred care in a welcoming environment.
In this role, you will work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team, taking responsibility for your clinical practice and appropriately delegating care. This position is well suited to experienced acute care nurses looking for a rewarding change within a positive workplace culture.
This is a part-time opportunity, with flexible hours and some fixed shifts available by negotiation.
Key responsibilities will include:
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care in partnership with patients and the multidisciplinary team
Deliver high-quality care in alignment with Cabrini’s mission, values, and organisational objectives
Uphold patient privacy, dignity, and confidentiality at all times
About You:
You are a confident and compassionate nurse with strong communication skills, proven surgical experience, and a flexible, patient-focused approach.
You will also have:
Current unrestricted AHPRA registration
Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent
3–4 years acute surgical experience (Orthopaedic, Urology, Plastics, ENT, Breast/general surgery)
Victorian Working with Children Check
