About the role:
This is a unique opportunity to join the St Vincent’s Private Hospital Toowoomba (SVPHT) as a Registered Nurse Scrub/Scout in our Perioperative Department. You will bring your passion to the role where you will work collaboratively with a dynamic clinical team to support the delivery of quality patient care.

St Vincent’s Private Hospital Toowoomba is the largest acute private hospital on the Darling Downs. We are a 197-bed facility with highly experienced and skilled staff that work as a team to deliver the highest standard of healthcare to all our patients. Our services include medical, surgical, maternity, paediatric, emergency, cardiac and rehabilitation. We are supported by comprehensive allied health services and advanced medical and diagnostic services. Pathology, radiology and pharmacy are also available on site, and our emergency department is open 24 hours, seven days a week.

Things that work for us:
Nursing Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency is essential
Willingness to be able to work on a permanent part time basis
At least 12 months experience as Scrub/Scout Focus, to deliver patient centred, evidence-based care
Ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team and to work independently of others
Post graduate perioperative certificate desirable.
