Description:

Coordinates total patient nursing care for patients, participated in patient and family teaching, and provides leadership by working cooperatively with ancillary nursing and other patient team personnel in maintaining standard for professional nursing practice in the clinical setting.



Qualifications: Must have current, unencumbered R.N. license to practice in the State of Michigan; level of knowledge equivalent to that ordinarily acquired through completion of a minimum of two years of college level training in nursing, BSN preferred; Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification; analytical ability to assess and evaluate patients condition and utilize the nursing process; interpersonal skills necessary to almost constantly communicate with patients, families, medical personnel and other members of the health care team; ability to work cooperatively within the framework of the nursing team; ability to perform effectively and efficiently under pressure and stressful critical situations; ability to operate a computer.

Schedule:

  • Full-time

  • 8-hour shifts

  • 72 hours per pay period

  • Night Shift: 11:00 PM – 7:30 AM

  • weekends and holidays to be scheduled in accordance per CBA

What You’ll Do

As a Registered Nurse (RN), you will:

  • Deliver holistic, patient-centered care by assessing health data, creating individualized care plans, and evaluating outcomes.

  • Collaborate with patients, families, and an interdisciplinary team to provide evidence-based, personalized care.

  • Support all aspects of the patient experience, making a meaningful impact on every patient’s journey.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program.

  • Current Michigan RN license.

  • Prior experience in a specialty area preferred.

  • ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications required.

  • $11,000 Sign-On Bonus Requirements: 1 year RN licensed experience required

Continuing Employment Requirements

  • Familiarity with hospital and department policies and procedures, including accepted methods for requisitioning ancillary services and working with medical staff.
    (Typically acquired during 1–3 months of orientation.)

  • Maintain current nursing knowledge, BLS certification, and required CEUs for licensure.
