Levine Cancer – Gaston, located at 2610 Aberdeen Blvd. in Gastonia, NC, is a comprehensive oncology practice providing high-quality cancer care close to home. In addition to office visits and infusion services, our location offers a full range of supportive care services, including patient navigation, social work, nutrition services, clinical trials, on-site laboratory services, genetics counseling, and more. As a general oncology practice, we care for patients with a broad range of diagnoses, including breast, lung, GI/GU, head and neck cancers, as well as malignant and benign hematologic conditions.

We are seeking a Clinic Registered Nurse (RN) to support increasing patient volumes as we continue to grow our Gynecologic Oncology program and welcome an additional physician to our team. This role is essential to supporting our expanding services and maintaining excellence in patient care. We have an extremely cohesive team here and are looking for someone to come with ideas and self-motivation. 

We’re Looking For:   

  • Experience with working in ambulatory clinic setting. Preferably some oncology experience but not required. 

  • General working nursing experience 2 years minimum

  • Bachelors in nursing

Minimum requirements:

  • Associates Degree in Nursing and currently registered as a nurse in NC with an active nursing license.

  • Active and current BLS

  • Engages in unit councils, professional governance, and quality initiatives to improve care processes and apply evidence-based practices. 

  • Utilizes the nursing process to assess, plan, diagnose, implement, and evaluate nursing care, engaging patients and families through the continuum of care. 

  • Monitors patient conditions, adjusts care plans, mobilizes resources, and collaborates with the care team to influence care outcomes. 

  • Continuously evaluates patient, team, and unit outcomes, taking action as needed. 

  • May administer medications, treatments, and therapies safely and according to clinical protocols and procedures.
