Atrium Health Ballantyne Neurology is located at 15110 John J Delaney Drive Ste 200 in Charlotte, NC, and is a leading outpatient neurology practice dedicated to delivering exceptional, patient‑centered care for children and adults with a wide range of neurological conditions. Our team utilizes advanced diagnostics, evidence‑based treatments, and a collaborative approach to care for patients with stroke, seizure disorders, multiple sclerosis, neuropathy, movement disorders, migraines, dementia, developmental neurological concerns, and other complex conditions.

Our practice also offers specialized programs such as neurodiagnostic testing (EMG and EEG), botulinum toxin injections for migraines and movement disorders, and patient education and support for chronic neurological conditions.

We’re Looking For: 

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team full-time. Ideal candidates will have experience in one or more of the following areas: 

  • Experience in neurology, primary care, or specialty medicine preferred
  • Strong communication, assessment, and organizational skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced outpatient environment

Requirements: 

  • Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing 
  • Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices 
  • Minimum of 1 year of RN experience preferred
  • Current certification in BLS required.  
  • Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and a team-oriented mindset 
  • BSN preferred

Position Details: 

  • Weekday hours between 8:00a and 5:00 PM

What You’ll Do: 
Majority of the responsibilities for this role involve rooming and clinical support, this position will also assist with telephone triage duties as needed, involving assessing patient symptoms over the phone, prioritizing concerns, relaying critical information to providers, and ensuring timely, safe guidance for patients and families.

As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures. 

Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
