Sentara Obici Hospital is seeking a compassionate and adaptable Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Resource Pool team on the Part-Time Day Shift. This flexible and rewarding role is ideal for an experienced nurse who enjoys variety, professional growth, and being part of a supportive, mission-driven healthcare team.
As a Resource Pool RN, you’ll have the opportunity to provide expert nursing care across multiple departments, building diverse clinical experience while making a difference in the lives of patients throughout the hospital. You’ll deliver safe, high-quality, and compassionate care guided by Sentara’s standards of practice and professional performance.
Overview:
Provide competent, patient-centered nursing care using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation).
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated, high-quality care.
Demonstrate sound clinical judgment and adaptability in a variety of units and patient populations.
Participate in health teaching, patient education, and care planning.
Promote ethical, evidence-based, and culturally congruent nursing practice.
Support quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a positive team environment.
Education:
Associates or Bachelors degree - Nursing (required)
Certifications:
Valid RN license (required)
