Job Description​

Anderson County Hospital is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our dedicated rural hospital team!

This position is based on our Medical-Surgical Unity, with the opportunity to float to the Emergency Department during periods of high patient volume. Acuity levels vary, offering an excellent environment to grow your clinical skills and gain well-rounded experience.


Shift Details: 

  • PRN
  • Nights 
  • Required to work at least two night shifts per 6 week schedule, one required to be on the weekend

*must be willing to float to Allen County Regional Hospital as needed

Accountable for utilizing the nursing process. Responsible for performing patient care delegating patient care tasks and for supervision of other patient care staff. Responsible for coordinating the plan of care for a group of assigned patients and consulting with other members of the health care team when indicated to ensure optimal patient outcomes. This clinical nurse demonstrates proficiency and abides by policies rules guidelines and procedures.

Applicable Experience:

Less than 1 year

Advanced Cardiac Life Support RQI - Resuscitation Quality Improvement (RQI), Basic Life Support - American Heart Association or Red Cross, Pediatric Advanced Life Support RQI - Resuscitation Quality Improvement (RQI), Registered Nurse - Various

Associate Degree
