What You’ll Do
In conjunction with the medical plan of care, independently performs systematic and continuous assessment of the physical, emotional, clinical, and psychosocial needs of assigned patients and families. Plans and implements appropriate interventions; and evaluates effectiveness and adjusts plan as indicated in a timely manner in the provision of safe and effective care.
Requirements
1.AHA ACLS upon hire.
2.AHA BLS for Healthcare Providers within 30 days.
3.AHA PALS Provider upon hire.
4.ASLS - Advanced Stroke Life Support within 180 days.
5.Current Missouri Registered Nurse license or current Registered Nurse license from a compact state. If a compact license is held, it must be in the nurse’s state of residence.
6.Licensed Registered Nurse with 2 years of Medical/Surgical nursing experience and 3 years of Critical Care experience (1 of which can be ED).
7.NIH Stroke Scale Certification within 120 days.
8.Nonviolent Crisis Intervention Training Program (CPI) within 180 days.
9.RN Competency Day annually by transcript due date.
10.Trauma Nurse Core Course (TNCC) upon hire.
Preferred Requirements
1.Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC) preferred.
