As a Labor and Delivery Nurse at Saint Luke’s Hospital, you will work with a diverse patient population with various conditions, treatment plans, and acuity levels. You will work with both high risk and healthy patients and assist with Labor, C Sections, Recovery, Triage, and antepartum care of our obstetrical patients. Saint Luke’s Hospital is a Magnet Designated Academic Medical Center with a Level III NICU with various opportunities for career growth and development.

Responsibilities:

· Be accountable for utilizing the nursing process.

· Responsible for performing patient care, delegating patient care tasks and for supervision of other patient care staff.

· Responsible for coordinating the plan of care for a group of assigned patients and consulting with other members of the health care team when indicated to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

· This clinical nurse demonstrates proficiency and abides by policies, rules, guidelines and procedures.
