Opportunities available:
Permanent Part-Time – 4 days per week
Full-Time Max Term Contract – through to 04 February 2027
You’ll become part of a supportive nursing team dedicated to delivering high-quality care across radiation oncology, medical oncology, and haematology. Collaborating closely within a multidisciplinary environment, you’ll play an integral role in ensuring patients receive exceptional, compassionate treatment throughout their journey
More Specifically you will:
Attend patient assessment.
Administration of chemotherapy, immunotherapies and blood transfusions
Provide radiotherapy nursing care, including patient preparation, education, treatment support and management of radiotherapy-related side effects.
Establish a compassionate environment by providing emotional, psychological and spiritual support to patients, family and friends.
Provide comprehensive patient education.
Collaborate with Radiation Oncologists / Oncologists / Haematologists and the multidisciplinary team.
Maintain patient and organisation confidence by adhering to policy and procedure.
Contribute to the team effort by assisting with team goals.
Bring a positive, enthusiastic and ‘can-do’ attitude to work.
We’re interested in hearing from people who have:
Current unrestricted AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
Strong clinical experience and demonstrated nursing competence
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a compassionate approach
Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
Commitment to evidence-based practice, quality improvement and ongoing professional development
