St Vincent’s Private Hospital Melbourne (SVPHM) is a facility of St Vincent’s Health Australia under the stewardship of Mary Aikenhead Ministries.  We are a not for profit Catholic private hospital which operates across four sites at Fitzroy, East Melbourne, Kew and Werribee.

ABOUT YOUR NEW ROLE:

St Vincent’s Private Hospital, Fitzroy campus, is seeking experienced and team-orientated Registered Nurses to join our General Surgical Unit.

We are looking for nurses who:

  • Have a minimum of 3 years’ surgical nursing experience

  • Possess well-developed clinical assessment and patient-management skills

  • Demonstrate strong teamwork, communication, and critical-thinking abilities

  • Preferably have experience in one or more of the following specialties:

    • Colorectal surgery

    • Gynaecology

    • Urology

The successful candidate will have the following:

  • Current AHPRA Registration as a Registered Nurse
  • At least 3 years experience on a surgical ward
  • Ability to deliver quality clinical care with a customer service focus
  • Ability to work well within a team environment
  • Excellent communication skills
