Grow your career within our expanding Oncology and Haematology service
Our new Oncology/Haematology General Medical Ward will care for a diverse patient cohort of patients, including elective and emergency admissions across a broad range of oncological/haematology conditions—from chemotherapy administration through to complex medical care.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Working alongside specialist medical oncologists, haematologists, and a collaborative multidisciplinary team

  • Build on your acute care experience while further developing your oncology expertise in a highly specialised environment

  • Deliver safe, high-quality patient care, including medication administration and monitoring

  • Undertake comprehensive patient assessments and prioritise care needs

  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the multidisciplinary team

  • Contribute to a positive, safe, and collaborative ward environment

  • Participate in ongoing education and professional development opportunities

You will bring:

  • Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse or Enrolled Nurse

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in Oncology/Haematology/ General Medicine (essential)

  • Strong commitment to patient-centred care and clinical excellence

  • Well-developed assessment, prioritisation, and time management skills

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team

  • Confidence in managing sensitive situations with professionalism and empathy

  • Victorian Working with Children Check
