The Endoscopy Department at Milton Hospital is a specialized, fast‑paced clinical environment that plays a vital role in patient care. The unit is organized into three connected areas—Pre‑Op, Procedure, and Recovery—and most patients move through all three during their visit. This is a collaborative setting where teamwork, communication, and mutual support are essential to delivering safe, high‑quality care.
What You’ll Do
As an Endoscopy Nurse, you’ll provide hands‑on care throughout the patient journey, working closely with physicians, CRNAs, and endoscopy technicians. This role is active and engaging, with responsibilities that include:
Delivering patient care across pre‑procedure, procedural, and recovery phases
Safely assisting and transporting patients, including those under sedation
Collaborating with a multidisciplinary care team to ensure smooth workflows
Leading and supporting an Endoscopy Technician, including delegating tasks as needed
Communicating clearly, accepting feedback, and contributing positively to team goals

Beth Israel Deaconess Milton is seeking dynamic and talented Registered Nurses to work in per diem in our Endoscopy Department. The Registered Nurse reports to the Nurse Manager and is responsible for the total nursing care of patients within assigned unit.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of two years’ medical/surgical experience, outpatient and GI nursing preferred
- Current MA RN license
- BLS and ACLS required with American Heart Association
- Current IV skills preferred
- Previous Endoscopy or critical care experience required
Pay Range:
$36.00 - $90.14
The pay range listed for this position is the base hourly wage range the organization reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this position at this time. Actual compensation is determined based on several factors, that may include seniority, education, training, relevant experience, relevant certifications, geography of work location, job responsibilities, or other applicable factors permissible by law. Compensation may exceed the base hourly rate depending on shift differentials, call pay, premium pay, overtime pay, and other additional pay practices, as applicable to the position and in accordance with the law.
