Emplify Health by Gundersen is seeking an experienced Registered Dietitian (RD) to join our dynamic Weight Management Center, specializing in bariatric surgery and obesity medicine. This is an exciting, top‑of‑scope opportunity for an RD who is passionate about evidence-based weight management, patient education, and multidisciplinary collaboration.

About the Role:

This position plays a key role in supporting patients throughout their weight‑loss journey. You will work independently while collaborating closely with bariatric surgeons, bariatricians, APCs, and nursing staff. This role includes a mix of individual patient visits (virtual and in‑person) as well as group class facilitation.
We are seeking a candidate who demonstrates strong independence, professionalism, and excellent patient‑engagement skills. The ideal individual will show high reliability, professional integrity, and strong time‑management abilities, along with the confidence to work independently and manage their own schedule within a collaborative clinical environment. Success in this role also requires exceptional interpersonal communication, the ability to build rapport quickly with diverse patient populations, and confidence when facilitating group classes. A supportive, empathetic approach to patient interactions is essential for thriving in this position.

What Is Available:

  • Full Time - 40 hours a week

  • Day Shift, Monday - Friday

  • Location: Onalaska Clinic

  • Starting salary of $71,600 + more for experience

What You'll Need:

  • Bachelors Degree in Dietetics

  • 3-4 years of experience as a dietitian or related healthcare field

  • 1 full year of experience of weight management experience or endocrinology experience

  • Registered as a Dietitian with Commission on Dietetics Registration

  • Must have State Licensure in WI, MN and IA

  • Certificate of Training in Obesity for Pediatrics & Adults within 2 years of hire
