Job Description​

The Opportunity:

This position will float between all 4 hospital locations at the Plaza, Overland Park, Lee's Summit and North Kansas City.

Shift Details:

This is a Monday through Friday dayshift position working 8-5PM, 24 hours per week. Position will require some weekend coverage.

The Work:

  • This position is accountable for using Nutrition Care Process (NCP, ADIME-assessment, diagnosis, intervention, monitoring and evaluation).
  • Develops and oversees the implementation of nutrition interventions/prescriptions for patients with nutrition problems.
  • Responsible for coordinating the plan of care/interventions and consulting with other members of the health care team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • The RD demonstrates proficiency in the Standards of Practice and Standards of Professional Performance.

Long Term Care experience as an RD preferred.

Licensed Dietician (KS) - Kansas Department for Aging and Disability Services, Licensed Dietician (MO) - Missouri Division of Professional Registration, Registered Dietitian - Commission of Dietetic Registration (CDR)
