Job Description:

Position Summary:

Screens and assesses nutritional status of patients and develops nutrition care plans with established goals.  Provides medical nutrition therapy and nutrition education following established standards of care and practice guidelines.  Works collaboratively within an interdisciplinary model to achieve positive patient outcomes.  Participates in performance improvement process and initiatives to improve client/patient services.  Acts as a role model for staff members.  Manages resources to achieve budgetary goals.  Complies with all regulatory standards.  Demonstrates flexibility in response to changes.  Supports patient meal service functions.  Performs other duties as assigned.

Education/Experience:

BS in Nutrition, Dietetics or related field

One year previous experience in Clinical Dietetics preferred

Certification/License:

Current registration with the Commission on Dietetic Registration

Current Massachusetts License

 

 

Pay Range:

$30.00 - $40.38

The pay range listed for this position is the base hourly wage range the organization reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this position at this time. Actual compensation is determined based on several factors, that may include seniority, education, training, relevant experience, relevant certifications, geography of work location, job responsibilities, or other applicable factors permissible by law.  Compensation may exceed the base hourly rate depending on shift differentials, call pay, premium pay, overtime pay, and other additional pay practices, as applicable to the position and in accordance with the law.
