Dr. Blunston is a General Dentist who is very knowledgeable in various aspects of dentistry, which allows us to offer a comprehensive care plan for our patients.  We offer services including orthodontics, TMJ/TMD treatment, orofacial myofunctional therapy, sleep apnea treatment, oral surgery, and cosmetic services.

We are looking for a Dental Assistant to join our team in a fixed-term position until June 2027.  

Schedule:  
Monday–Wednesday: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Thursday: 7:00 AM – 2:00 PM

Your Role: 

  • Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials for procedures, ensuring a clean and safe environment 

  • Assist dentists and hygienists during treatments, maintaining patient comfort and workflow 

  • Take dental X-rays and digital images as required 

  • Perform instrument sterilization and infection control following IPAC standards 

  • Update patient charts and provide education on oral hygiene and post-treatment care 

  • Support scheduling, patient flow, and administrative tasks 

  • Collaborate with the dental team to deliver efficient, high-quality care 

  • Follow all privacy, safety, and regulatory guidelines 

  • Establish strong patient relationships while maintaining ethical professional behaviour 

 

About You: 

  • Registered and/or Certified as a Dental Assistant with your Provincial regulatory body or association is required 

  • Previous dental assisting experience is preferred
