Job Summary:
The Regional Sales Rep II supports the creation and execution of sales plans to support regional accounts utilizing an enterprise mindset to optimize profitability for the company and retail partners.
Responsibilities:
35% Develops and grows account relationships within assigned territory. Seeks to identify and execute new sales opportunities with an enterprise mindset.
25% Constructs, communicates, and maintains sales plans and forecasts externally in partnership with leadership.
15% Leverages marketplace intelligence and consumer insights to execute brand strategy.
10% Cultivates relationships with cross functional partners to support a best-in-class business.
10% Partners with sales peers and leadership to create and deliver seasonal product presentations to understand persuasive storytelling and directive selling techniques.
5% Performs other duties as assigned.
Additional Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree, applicable certification or equivalent experience.
• Typically requires 2-4 years of professional experience, and general proficiency with tools, systems, and procedures required to accomplish the job.
• 2-4 years of experience in sales of Apparel, Footwear, Equipment, and/or equivalent industry merchant experience
• Experience meeting deadlines and sales/revenue goals in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
• Experience working within cross-functional teams with the ability to establish effective working relationships internally and externally.
• Strong knowledge of retail analytics.
• Strong interpersonal skills, including relationship building, as well as strong persuasive speaking and proven negotiation abilities.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, as well as experience with Microsoft Applications and sales software.
• Time management skills to handle sample lines, territory travel, tear down and set ups, while maintaining order book and shipments.
• Travel: Substantial - 50%
