About the position  

Keyfactor is expanding and looking to add an enthusiastic, professional, and goal-oriented Sales Director to our team for our West territory. Sales Directors with Keyfactor work in a high-level consultative role, meeting with “C” level executives and selling Keyfactor’s products and services to potential customers. The right candidate will be highly proficient in establishing and maintaining relationships with key decision-makers and have a proven ability to close business in the mid-market to enterprise commercial corporate accounts.

Keyfactor leads the market in digital identity management solutions for data, devices, and applications. The Keyfactor product suite helps customers simplify and scale the issuance, deployment and management of trusted digital identities. 

The position is based in the US. This is a remote position from West Coast, ideally in PST timezone. Applicants must hold U.S. citizenship or U.S. permanent resident status.

Responsibilities 

  • Contribute to contract negotiations and collaborate on go-to-market (GTM) strategy with marketing.
  • Develop and maintain product, market, and competitor knowledge.
  • Acts as the SME for cryptographic posture management, guiding customers and internal teams on best practices.
  • Partner with account executives to qualify opportunities and lead sales overlay motions aligned with regional strategies.
  • Delivers tailored presentations and demonstrations that highlight Keyfactor solutions role in cryptographic risk reduction or PQC prioritization and planning.
  • Drive pipeline growth by identifying critical cryptographic posture scenarios and delivering tailored presentations and demos that highlight Keyfactor’s role in risk reduction and PQC planning.
  • Represent Keyfactor at industry events, tradeshows, webinars, and workshops, providing thought leadership on cryptographic discovery, inventory, and PQC planning.
  • Maintains a commitment to the company’s sales processes, values, and target visions.

Skills and Qualifications 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Technology, or equivalent experience.
  • Strong understanding of IT security, PKI, and certificate lifecycle management.
  • Awareness of classical cryptographic risks and emerging post-quantum threats, along with high-level understanding of their business impact.
  • Broad technology awareness across enterprise IT, cloud infrastructure, and cybersecurity domains to support cryptographic posture management solutions.
  • Ability to articulate complex cryptographic risks in business terms to C-level stakeholders.In-depth knowledge of market dynamics and competitor strategies.
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements in the IT Security industry.
  • Experience with and knowledge of MEDDPICC, Solution Selling, and SPIN Selling.
  • Ability to develop and execute strategic direction aligned with company goals.
  • Proficient in using advanced sales tools and technologies.
  • Ability to identify and develop opportunities for future business growth, including strategically important partnerships and key customers.
  • Ability to coach others and share knowledge, insights, and skills with the broader team.
  • Ability to influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

Compensation

Salary will be commensurate with experience.
