A dynamic and results-driven Sales Team Manager who will oversee a team of Sales Account Managers. The primary focus of this role is to lead and mentor the CounselLink Account Management Team, ensuring they effectively drive existing client retention, capitalize on upselling opportunities, and appropriately align internal & external partners to support the vast array of needs of our valued clients. Additionally, the Sales Team Manager will be responsible for pipeline development and forecast accuracy. The ideal candidate will possess a combination of leadership skills, technical expertise, and a deep understanding of the legal industry.
Responsibilities:
Lead and mentor a team of Account Managers responsible for managing client relationships and driving sales growth.
Develop and implement strategies to retain existing clients and maximize upselling opportunities.
Utilize expertise in SaaS Software and Professional Services sales to effectively manage and coach a large team of Account Managers.
Oversee the management of the sales pipeline and accurately forecast sales projections.
Coach sales professionals on consultative selling techniques to effectively address client needs and challenges. SPIN selling methodology experience ideal.
Collaborate with cross-functional team managers, including those in CousnelLink Professional Services, Customer Success, and Support, to ensure the successful delivery and support of solutions to clients and foster cross-team collaboration.
Stay abreast of industry trends, competitive landscape, product development, and client feedback to inform retention and upsell strategies.
Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and teamwork within the sales team.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in sales leadership roles, preferably in the SaaS Software & Professional Services industry.
Demonstrated track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
Self-starter with a proven ability to excel in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, demonstrating readiness to swiftly master complex information, data, and processes. Must thrive in environments with steep learning curves and be eager to embrace new challenges.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate sales teams and build relationships with strategic, high-profile corporate clients.
Proven track record of successfully engaging with executives from Fortune 500 companies, demonstrating exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
Deep understanding of the corporate legal operations industry. Experience in Legal Operations and/or Legal Enterprise Management (ELM) systems sales is ideal.
Strong analytical skills and the ability to leverage data to drive decision-making.
Proficiency in CRM software and other sales enablement tools. Salesforce experience is ideal.
Legal industry experience is a must; experience with high-value corporate legal clients is highly desirable.
