A Regional Sales Manager is responsible for leading and expanding business within a specific geographical region, achieving sales targets, managing Dealer sales team, and building strong relationships with key industry stakeholders like contractors, architects, and distributors.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Strategy & Execution: Develop and implement effective regional sales strategies to achieve revenue and market share growth.
Team Leadership & Management: Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of Dealer sales executives provide training to Dealer Team. This involves setting clear performance goals, conducting reviews, and providing coaching.
Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities and project leads by engaging with potential clients, such as general contractors, builders, developers, architects, and consultants.
Account and Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key customers, distributors, and business partners.
Market Analysis & Reporting: Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and pricing strategies to adjust plans accordingly. Prepare and present accurate sales forecasts, budgets, and performance reports to management.
Channel & Inventory Management: Appoint and manage the regional dealer and distributor network, ensuring proper stock levels and smooth order fulfillment in coordination with supply chain/logistics teams.
Product Promotion: Organize and conduct product demonstrations, seminars, and branding activities to increase product visibility and customer engagement.
Financial Oversight: Ensure timely payment collection from Dealers & Customers.
Travel: Travel extensively within the assigned region to visit construction sites, meet clients, and support the Dealer sales team in the field.
